Itinerary
We start at the iconic colonial era cafe, Koshys. We will walk down MG Road and Church Street, look at the influence the British Cantonment has had on the Bengaluru's English literary history. We will learn about popular Bangalore based books and Bangalore based authors. We will explore a few good old bookstores, their stories and what these bookstores mean to Bangaloreans. We will also look at the publishing history of Bangalore and the role media has played in promoting the city's literary history. In all, if you love books and exploration then you will meet a lot of like minded folks on this walk.
